Most women are confused about their desires and expectations from life, even they feel unfit for society and among their peer groups, but why?
I randomly shared a question in women’s group “what satisfies you, physically, mentally and spiritually?” I’m sharing the mind-blowing answers,
“I am satisfied because I’m alive”
“Making time for myself and singing when I feel frustrated with the burden of assignments and college schedule, I feel as if I’m talking to self and letting all negative energy out of me"
“Spending time meditating on the beach because that gives me mental peace and lets me connect with nature”
“I practice artwork in my scheduled time slot and sketching satisfies my soul”
“When I read books, my mind and body are satisfied. I believe satisfaction is a productive day; gaining knowledge and wisdom”
“I paint because there are no limitations to it”
“My satisfaction? I am chill and happy because I track and study daily live updates of the stock market, which I’m going to pursue for the rest of my life”
“My body, soul and mind are satisfied because the gym is my second home”
Tell yourself daily
“I put myself before anyone else, and I’m not guilty of it”
Self-care is what we do for the good of our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. To achieve a true self-care, we need to be conscious of it. Self-care helps you deal with:
- Stress Management
- Work-life balance
- Physical and mental health
- Networking with people
- Live a prosperous life and etc.
Us women do not put ourselves first often enough, and without giving time to ourselves we forget our needs, desires, values and neglect our mind and soul. Self-love cannot happen on its own, we need to take a break, pause the daily life routine and reschedule everything which includes more connection with physical, mental and spiritual sides of us.
Here's a poem that describes every woman-
That smile she wears, thinking she lives in a fairy tale, a blaze she gets, with the rain of colours, the universe spreads. Dark lipstick resemblance of her brave heart, makes the flowers blossom from the roots of her heart. Spreads love through her vibrant soul, In a hope of giving life to all earthly souls.
Incorporating daily life habits prioritise self-care for successful women, such as activities to stay fit gets enough energy to get through work and personal commitments. To be successful women must adapt to changes, it feels enervating and devastating at the beginning but efforts also being put by ourselves, for our good. What we eat, how we live, our schedule and our efforts define us, so ‘be the change’ and see where it takes you.

Follow this self-care challenge and find the best ones to include in your daily life.
Mental and spiritual self-care is important
Being the healthiest can sometimes feel empty from inside. We have a deep influence of our emotional being over our minds which directly impacts our spiritual and mental status. Our body and mind react differently with the situations we are in, so to manage all the emotions overflowing inside us and handle them like a professional we have to first connect with our body and please our soul.
These could be done by following up tips:
- Connect with people- Share with people what you exactly feel about the things that bother you
- Meditate daily- Meditation helps a human being connect with their body and mind that gives an immense peace
- Plan a solo trip and implement it- Sometimes going out alone is the best medicine to find yourself and figure out what actually makes you happy.
- Living in the moment- Enjoy the present rather than stressing over past or being tensed about the future.
- Challenges- Get out of your comfort zone and face the challenges you encounter, the scenarios we make while trying something new or going towards fear are all inside our mind, we- fall, we-learn, we-grow. It is simple or we might get stuck in one place.
- Clear your mind- Keep reminding yourself I will not get controlled by my emotions, the mind is very powerful. Think about what is right and wrong.
- Read- The exposure we get through wisdom and knowledge shared in books are the best to grow mentally and emotionally.
These tips help us improve relations with others, giving our mind and soul an exposure to other things and influence our behaviour. Surround yourself with people and adopt their good qualities to bring changes in us. Women with good mental and spiritual connections know what makes them happy and what they actually seek from life. The feeling of loneliness and isolation is dissipated into thin air when a woman realizes her worth.
To sum up
Life is short, there are many unexplored things around us that we haven’t found yet. Be it the best food on the planet, the best place, the best people- a handsome/gorgeous partner or yourself. We have the option of going out and filling the spaces in our heads.
We give what we have, but we cannot give what we lack. Self-care develops a healthy relationship with yourself that channels a positive aura with others. Consider it as selfish, so what, paying adequate attention to your well-being is not selfish. You don’t consider only your needs but fulfils others too. Dedicate time in self to pursue what inspires and motivates you. Make a commitment to yourself to live a serene life.
